Practising lawyer. Member of Barcelona Bar Association. He specialises in commercial and company law.
He has extensive experience in advising and assisting companies and their management teams, taking part in the design and implementation of corporate restructuring projects and acquisitions (M&A), as well as the international expansion of Spanish groups. He advises on refinancing projects, project finance, the involvement of business angels and financing start-ups.
He is the secretary of the boards of directors of Spanish and multinational companies, having built up his experience in advising international companies and Spanish companies in the process of international expansion.
He has been published in the trade press, spoken at conferences and given courses. He edited the newsletter for PwC Barcelona’s Commercial Law Department and was involved in writing the OECD’s 2012 Report on Transparency in Companies’ Financial Information.
Bachelor of Law from Universidad Abat Oliba (Fundación San Pablo CEU), Postgraduate Qualification in International Law from Nijmegen Catholic University, now called Radboud Universiteit (Netherlands), Diploma in International Business Law from ESADE business school. He has a solid educational background in business management and administration, having completed various programmes at the IESE and ESADE business schools. Languages: Catalan, Spanish and English.
